Efficient Resource Management 2016/17

Il seminario - tenuto dalla dott.ssa Maria Passalacqua (Club EMAS, Catalunya), e organizzato dalla Cattedra Jean Monnet "International Business for European Union" (IB4EU) - propone la gestione ambientale quale parte integrante della strategia di impresa a fronte di richieste sempre più pressanti, anche in sede comunitaria, di condotte di business responsabili. A tal fine, il seminario illustra le sfide principali e le esigenze che le imprese si trovano a fronteggiare, nonché le aspettative del mercato. Infine, la relatrice propone un’analisi dei vantaggi e dei costi associati alle prestazioni ambientali per diversi tipi di organizzazioni e settori attraverso l’Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) dell’Unione Europea. L’Ecolabel è inoltre discusso come ulteriore strumento di gestione ambientale a livello europeo.

The seminar is organized by the Jean Monnet Chair International Business for European Union (IB4EU, www.dsps.unict....) held by Grazia Santangelo and co-funded by the Erasmus+ program. The seminar - delivered by Maria Passalacqua (Club EMAS, Catalunya) - suggests environmental management activities as part of the overall firm strategy in a context where the requests for a responsible business conduct are increasingly more demanding especially at the EU level. To this end, the seminar illustrates the challenges and opportunities related to firm’s environmental management in today’s entrepreneurial context and also in connection to market expectations. Finally, the seminar proposes an analysis of the costs and benefits of environmental performances through the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) for different types of organizations and sectors. The Ecolabel is also discussed as a tool to improve the product added value in the market
