I assume you mean the pages when you say sides? If that is what you were meaning: Yes, you can claim both pages for free with the battle supply coins. The only catch is, you need to be level 50 in the pass to access page 1 and level 96 for page 2. If you're not 96 yet, that is likely why you can't claim from page 2.
