Thanks Matt. The yellow and black kit is a historical reference to Petters Utd, who were to become Yeovil Town. The kit dates back to very early 20th century I believe and was worn by the team back then. A nice touch by the club.

Great channel, Matt. I haven't seen it since I went up to Hartlepool at the back end of last season (I'm a Crawley supporter). I've seen us play against both those sides in recent years - Eastbourne during our promotion season from non-league and our paths crossed with Yeovil's several times in L1 and L2 games. We were actually relegated from L1 to L2 the same season as Yeovil. It was quite a slide for them after gaining Championship status and a harsh lesson about what can happen if a club overreaches. I'm glad to see they are making a comeback - I didn't realise they had dropped out the National League top flight. Looks like they are heading back there.

Hi Matt, Eastbourne fan here. We are probably going down and it'll be sad for a club who are one of the top 8 biggest clubs in the league. Obviously no where near the size of Yeovil and Torquay. But we've only brought it on ourselves. Most of our side haven't played in this division before and it shows. Also, if you ever get a chance to visit Eastbourne, its a superb place. Unfortunately where the ground is outside Eastbourne and. Truth be told its not great. The only negative about Eastbourne is that its always freezing. When the match got abandoned at Taunton it was minus 5.

Thanks Pyro, I know Eastbourne quite well, the Mrs used to own a flat in Sovereign Harbour 👍🏻 got yourself a nice little ground there, unfortunately you may get relegated but you will have a local derby against Hastings next season 👍🏻⚽️

Absolutely not Rick, Coke and Mars can only be done when a ground sells bottles and not cans so I can do a fair and educated analysis 🧐 although the sausage roll was quite nice 👍🏻⚽️

Good Video again Matt, and one learns something, albeit trivial or non trivial. Cannot believe Eastborne are full time, even though the support isnt bad. Reckon their players still have p/ t jobs at least. Why train full time in that league, and who is paying their wages. As for Yeovil, they are going up. Too big a club for that league. I was born in Weymouth, so Yeovil along with Weymouth do have my following. Didnt realise Maidstone, Dover and Torquay were also f/t. Wonder who are paying for this. Dover have been on the down for years now, and Ishmian league next year, with even lower crowds. Sad to see the demise of these clubs, but in return other relatively unknown clubs have success.
