Billy, My 79 year old mother, Eloise from Hammond, LA, just told me a story about your Dad. Gladys’ brother. Must have been in the later ‘50s. Her cousin, Mary Nita, climbed over the brick fence at Graceland. Your Dad, gate guard, began coming towards her. My mom got scared and Mary Nita said, that’s uncle Travis! Elvis actually came out in a boat captain hat. He told your Dad that it was okay. So, Mary Nita was so fortunate to have her picture taken with Elvis while my Mom scratched up her knees as she hung over the wall ☺️
