So wonderful and touching you makes us feel part of the Elvis life. You know I was 15 years old I got tickets to see Elvis at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. I mean now it's like a blur what I remember though is Elvis coming out on stage the fans reaction was like a God and just walked out on stage I never experienced anything like that in my life. He was one of a kind And they'll never be another one

I just love Elvis 💕 I grew up always feeling like I knew him, even though he left us when I was 14. I kept a diary when I was that age and on that day it starts ‘ Dear diary, today the love of my life passed away. Elvis Presley.´ Innocent schoolgirl thing. Everyone else in my class loved Donny Osmond and his purple socks 🧦. I just adored Elvis. I watched his movies Blue Hawaii and GI Blues were my faves. For my grandmothers 64th birthday in 1988( both my mother and grandmother got married early in life and had their children when they were barely 20) .. so in 1988 I would have been 25. I took my grandmother to see the man, who was the very first Elvis impersonator. His back up singers… The real life Jordanaires ! It was a surprise gift for her. It was at a beautiful hotel in Toronto. It was the next best thing! We got to meet the singer and the Jordanaires. It was a beautiful evening. She spoke about that evening to all of her friends. I remember thinking ‘ How am I going to top this?’ She passed away very unexpectedly 9 months later. I remember thinking that same year when it came time for her birthday… she was having the real concert experience that year. It has been 33 years and I miss her everyday. Like you said, it is always bitter sweet, especially at Christmastime, when you lose someone that you truly adored and loved.

Being Elvis was like a game to him ! I think with Elvis everything was a game ! he probably would even make jokes about being on stage or having girlfriends even being married was a game and like a game he would play hard he gave his all ❤🕺🙏

Really enjoyed this! Got a good few laughs out of this for sure!😃 Elvis was for real! He was human like everyone else, which is just one of the many reasons why I admire him! Life is serious but one shouldn't be too hard on themselves by taking Life so seriously. Elvis emulated that and just accepted the bad with the good and the good with the bad. No matter what comes at you in Life, just accept it for what it is and get a good chuckle at it. Have a good time, enjoy it because if you don't get a good chuckle now, you will somewhere down the line. Good times, good memories. PRICELESS!!! I wish everyone could be like Elvis. That's such great stories. Oh yeah, I know what ya'll are talking about. I remember we had some of those peacocks that hung on the wall too when I was growing up. Some of my family members had them too. They were pretty. I could just picture Elvis saying and doing all of those things with ya'll. Not many people get to say that they spent time with Elvis.
