Efrat would never have imagined that his song would become so famous, for a sad reason, 13 years later...

I heard this today for rhe first time, during a tribute for the Israeli victims of 10/07. It is both Haunting & Beautiful. I don't speak Hebrew so am grateful for the Subtitles 🇮🇱 🙏

Lyrics: To see the light " for I saw my path disappear in a tangled forest, among walls of thicket and in the bleading earth my feet were embedded, struck roots and for the moment I could hear leaves teaching their song and I wanted to rise high bloom with them I got to know the drops of the rain that pooled within me, dropped below me and the wind, cold and desperate, froze me, weighed on me and for the moment I could touch the end of the gray pain and I wanted to rise high see the light see the light they say the sky is blue above us full of lights perhaps one day I, too, will be able to see see... and I fell to the earth, in silence closed my eyes, sealed my heart and felt how I was falling apart from all my pains, from all my loneliness and for the moment I could flee like a feather on the wing of a bird and I was able to rise high see the light see the light

Oh my God, I just listened this song as a tribut of the Israeli victims of 10/07 as well. This is beautiful but also terrible premonition of what innocent victims lived. I'm shocked. Big hugs and prayers from Mexico. Free the hostages!

Thank you for adding the English subtitles. I too heard this today in that heartbreaking tribute video today, which was a perfect choice for that video.. it was haunting and beautiful like the other commenter said. In spite of it being in another language it's one of my favorite songs already. One of the most beautiful and poetic songs I have ever heard and as someone who has been through a lot of pain I resonate. Had me in tears.

Beautiful song. I found text of this song in Józefów in Poland. Very close mass graves of Jews from this village. They were morder from German Soldiers from 101 batalion Hamburg Police. I decided that i must find this sond. Every year I spend a lot of time to visit place like that. For me it is very important....

Heard this song for the first time on a tribute for the Oct 7th, 2023 music festival massacre that took place in Israel near the Gaza border.💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭this is very sad how all of those people were just slaughtered. The one that hurts more than anything was the most innocent of all, (Rut Perez) 17 years old who was disabled bound to a wheelchair. Her father Eric grabbed her to save her and they were both gunned down.😭😭😭😭😭😭 May her, her father and all 250+ victims rest in peace!!!

when i listen to this song i think of the hostages stuck in that dark tunnel and praying for the light...the trs come without shame... i feel my heart with them... but i ask myself when will they return if this madness does not end? it can only end with honey not with vinegar. there is a way i believe and we move the energy with our prayers.and our dance.
