Couple things about his style. He uses more rails than the better players in USA to move cue ball around. His bridge is generally longer than most. His skill at 3 cushion billiards made him a real deadly player playi;g things like 8 ball, 9 ball and 10 ball. He knows the angles so he can be more creative depending on situation he faces. He’s the hardest person to snooker and clue Reyes to commit a foul. Actually many times he makes good hit and places his opponent in an even more difficult snookered situation. He longer bridge I think helps him with directionally moving cue ball and he may not even have to place as much Inglush on the cue ball to gain e,as affect. This iikely ups his odds of actually making shots Versus his opponents. Earl Strickland knows really how good this guy Reyes really is. That says some thing. I could watch Reyes play pool 24/7. His stroke different than any other I have seen as well as his grip of cue. I think what he does the stick is not being disturbed by human factor vs a lot of other players. Folks thought Reyes was just lucky at first. Buy we’re they wrong. I wonder some times if Reyes would have made a grand engineer based on his unbelievable understanding of cue ball behavior on a bilisrds or poll table. He’ll be hard to ever math. Much less outshsdow. I actually got to visit close to where Reyes lived in phillipines back in 1983. It would have been a hoot to have met him back then and got to see him perform.

Many years ago when I was still playing,I only had $3 (150 php) in my pocket.I decided to play with my friends for just a few games.I never thought that it would climb around $13 and I won.For me,when you think someone that inspires you so much and bring out your "A-Game",it's possible you can dominate the game.And Efren was the ONLY person in my mind in that time.

Just by him getting so good at what he does best he's done me a big favor to become much more focused on my ball speed practice beyond just making accurate shots. Watching good skaters on ice and the bad skaters who fall taught me how to get up and skate. I just taught myself not to fall so often and watching Efren is the pool lesson right there to observe closely how nice to himself he is to make his next shot easier To stop missing as often so big money is handed to you with a smile and a handshake..

Sure he is a great pool player, but not the greatest player to hold a cue, first of all the pockets on a pool table are like buckets ,miss the by 4iches and the ball still go in, big margin for error on these tiny table. The greatest player to ever hold a cue play snooker his name is Ronnie O'Sullivan , watch a maximum 147 break in 5minutes...on a 12x6 table😊😊
