i missed it the first view. not a big deal if there's no loss of turn for object ball fouls. ball hardly moved. if he did that against me in the 9 ball tournament i play he'd give up ball in hand.

This game is quite confusing Efren shoot the ball but his ball count becomes zero Efren shoot the ball but Gerson got the ball count I'm so confused maybe because I don't know how this game works

In one pocket players owe balls due to fouls. If they make a ball and their score remain the same probably is because they owed a ball. In regards of your other point maybe Efren made a ball but in his opponent’s pocket that’s why his opponent’s score went up and not his.

What I dont understand is how an amazing genius like Efren can play for so long and earn nothing basically compared to other sports where you can make millions Best he can do is win a tournament for maybe $10000

I get what you are saying, and we all want more money in pool. However, Reyes has some big wins $500,000 IPT World 8-Ball $200,000 IPT King of the Hill $163,000 Tokyo 9-Ball Open $100,000 Earl Strickland "Color of Money" race to 120 $60,000 World Pool Championship and I'm sure there are many others. Plus all the money matches he has won (many). Plus that money goes a lot farther in the Philippines than it does in more western countries.

What a fantastic match! Kudos to Gerson Martinez (Any relation to Rafael Martinez??) for some amazing stuff, giving the GOAT everything he could handle. Game 5 featured some of the finest safety play you could ever imagine in the early part of the game. I normally FF through a lot of the up-table games, but I watched every second of this heavyweight bout. Thanks also to Scott Frost for great analysis and commentary.

One player gets one of the bottom pockets (below the rack), the other player gets the other pocket. The first player to make 8 balls in their pocket wins the game. Balls made in other pockets don't count for anything. Easy :)
