Awesome interview....👏👏 Here's a scary thought, the Efren Reyes we all know.... from mid 80's to present day, with his endless titles of every game imaginable, isn't even the BEST version of himself. 😲 Many... people that were with Efren and witnessed his play in the 70's and early 80's, when Efren was Teenager and early 20's... ALL say that it was at THAT point in his playing days that he was at his PRIME. I read in a Pool magazine that when Efren was 18 to 19 yrs old, even the American Pros would need to be spotted 3 or 4 games when racing to 11. Money games I'm talking about. And he would STILL win 11-6 ... Lol These were Pros on the circuit.... he was THAT dominant at that age. He even beat a young Ronny O in snooker back when he was in his 20's. And he only dabbled in snooker for a short period of time, mostly because of the availability of the snooker sized tables and opponents willing to take him on. Craziness...

I liked how Aaron questioned Efren on the humidity on tables in 4:10 and Efren acutally explaining how it helps. Very imformative.

he speaks good english for someone that didn't speak english as his native language, plus he only spent time in America for short periods of time. its not really that he's bad at english, but the accent is difficult to understand. his words are so wise though that i would replay this 10 times to understand everything.
@vareseources5 жыл бұрын
He finished only Grade 2 but his English is good enough. better than Pacquiao actually. He used the right words, it's just the accent that is hard to understand for English-speaking people.

@notbestfriends Misconie himself is the best at 14.1 but he cant be labeled as GOAT if he only plays one kind of ball game. Efren on the other hand plays various types of pool games.. won a lot of championship and achieved so many goals. In my opinion I'd say Efren is the GOAT. Dont get me wrong Im not putting down Misconie. Its just like Basketball you CANT be MVP if all u do is shoot 3 pts.
@adamsteele61483 жыл бұрын
14.1 is the ultimate game so your argument is weak. Willie considered nine ball, eight ball inferior and mostly luck based. Greenleaf and mosconi would wipe the floor with any of these guys.

I can't believe someone just made such a dumb statement on an Efren Reyes video. Hustlers look better at the game than they really are, unsurprising because they only play people they know they can beat-which is one of the main principles of hustling. Playing on a professional circuit with players that can match you shot for shot, safety for safety and play for play-it's a completely different game. Get this: "The Hustler" Minnesota Fats has never won a professional tournament in his life.
