@@efryo I still return to your art to this day haha. :D And I can't help but think of Hibike! and Liz all the time. I watched Hibike! on a whim, even though I hadn't watched any anime in years. My artistic admiration for the anime made me want to seek out to pay respects to the place the show takes place. One day I still plan to visit Uji. But my artistic admiration spiraled into something greater over the last 10 months or so. I not only want to visit Japan, but want to live and work there. I've been learning to speak, read and write in Japanese since November 2020, at first thinking it would be courteous to learn *something* if I were going to visit. Now it's a passion. And since July 2021, I've been learning to teach English. Language is very important to me, and music is a language by its very nature. I'm always so grateful for the language you speak, efryo. :)

Hi, and thank you! Actually I don't use any autotune, that's just the natural notes and rhythms that they hit in their speech which is why it's so cool. I might release an instrumental version when I do a second anime album but for now thanks for enjoying. :)

@@efryo no auto tune? How is it so hard tuned then? The only reason I ask is because I make music too so I thought for sure that this definitely at least melodyned and pitch corrected to some extent 😮 plus because the vox are hitting actual notes it would have to be auto tuned right?

Japanese tends to have sing songy nature to the speech anyway, so I did my very best to find lines that fit the pitches I wanted and then changed the key of the music to match. I'll nudge the pitch every now and then using the tools within Reason, but the pitch controls are pretty global (changing the pitch of the whole sample up and down) and I've never owned Melodyne or any autotune software in my life.
