Efteling Day 2 | My New Favourite Dark Ride?!

villa volta is older then the one in walibi belgium this was a vekoma prototype the world's first to build..great video

Yup. It was the worlds first real Vekoma Madhouse.

There is some text on the wall of the queue of Villa Volta that briefly explains what's going on in foreign languages. It's easy to miss when the queue is empty. There are more rides with explainers like that, it pays to look out for them.

As I said with the first video, great to see you are enjoying so much! The screeming "papier hier" thing is actually the same as the one you saw before, just a different model. They are all designed to take all kinds of waste. When you do, it will actually thank you!! (This encourages little children to find even more waste and feed the guy :D ) All in all Efteling has about 12 of these in the park in different models. Well, looking forward to day 3 and the Sprookjesbos vlog!

That steam carrousel was built around 1900 as a travelling carrousel. It was permanently installed at Efteling in the mid to late 1950's.

villa volta was the first mad house in the world, so walibi took the idea from this atraction.
