Great review. You should be the standard reviewer for all of them. I'm running the Havoks because of your earlier tire review and could not be happier. Keep making them vids. As always "Ride Hard and Be Safe" MN BILL

I'm trying to decide between a set of these Moto Slayers and Moto Havoks for my RZR Turbo as my mud tire setup. Looking to go with a 32 inch diameter. Which ones would you recommend for me man? Would the Slayers do better in terrain outside of pure mud? Judging by your review on the trail characteristics I'd think so.
@ehTV10002 жыл бұрын
Hands down I would get the Slayer in 32 or 33. Greater trailing characteristics and darn near as good in mud

I just bought an xmr 1000. I absolutely hate how stiff the suspension is on mine even set on soft with the clickers. I'm gonna turn the preload rings way down on the springs and see what happens. Prob gonna go down about 5 inches. Then I'll remove the rear sway bars if that doesn't do it. My quad is so damn stiff that it doesn't even move at all when I stand on it. Its terrible going over rocky trails here in PA.
@AJRenegade Жыл бұрын
Mines was like that too, I turned down the pre load. Made it smoother, but still pretty rough. Also I ended up blowing up both rear shocks, so I think I turned down the preload too much since it kept bottoming out while trail riding.
@richr909 Жыл бұрын
@@AJRenegade Next step is I'm gonna disconnect that massive rear sway bar that is as thick as the one on my F250 and see how that feels. If its too soft I can add a little pre load to the springs. But I think getting rid of that ridiculous sway bar is gonna be the answer. For the money that these quads cost, they should be a smooth ride. Not feel like a 4x4 go cart.

Xmr stands for xtreme maintenance required 😂😂 but they are strong atvs.

We have similar terrain here in Maine and from my riding experience in the Maine woods with rocks and roots galore, the XXC is a better choice in NEW England in general. Plus snorkels are illegal in Maine. Factory or aftermarket.

I know that back in the day you have tried the OutLaw 2s and other tires now how would you rate them against these tires and have you ever tried the Black Mambas. Living down here in Louisiana we have some great mud riding areas and me living in the middle of a pasture I have several different kinds terrain from extreme soft mud much like skeg to extremely hard dirt just like concrete where it cracks open when dry I run either 32” Black Mambas or 32” OutLaw 2s on my Commander.

Do you find the 30s arnt enough clearance in the mud and you get hung up a lot ? That’s the only thing stopping me from going down to 30s for a mud/ trail tire

Thought it might be, but honestly not really. Just attack it harder or take fresh line.

@@902RedMonster69 I ran 29.5s on my last outlander and once you go bigger you cannot work the bike through a hole as well. Btw I ran bounty holes against bikes on 35"+ tires and for the most part would make it as far as any of them and actually won a few against much bigger tire machines

Wait wait wait ✋ you can’t give the tire a 8 instead of a 9 due to YOUR visibility that’s not a factor build a fender that keeps it out of your eyes it’s not the tires fault you don’t have fenders and it’s blasting you in the face lmao I personally get plastic kit for mudding and then if I wasn’t I’d go back to my slick sport fenders
