Waiting on battery cells too. They're still out in the middle of the deep blue sea somewhere. I'll be using JK Inverter BMS' and hope that won't be too hairy of a startup. But EG4 talks Pylon and so does JK. Should be alright, we'll see. Just got my pv panels in yesterday. Little bit of a pain having to pick them up at the freight terminal and costed me an extra $200 bucks for help with the 1500lb pallet. But I didn't discover until this evening that I had 36 panels instead of the 30 that I ordered and paid for. Expecting to have 12kw in panels turned into 14.4kw (400w/bifacial). No battery yet (shipping) and no generator. Tried to download the EG4 Monitor app for my Android, but it requires a "customer code" from the supplier (InvertersRUs) and today is a Saturday. They didn't list cryptic number that on the invoice. Why not, since all customers will need it to use the app? Nor in the box (drop-shipped from EG4). I sent e-mails and voice-mail to both. Why make the customer jump thru such hoops?

I would not recommend it. You can ask EG4 or signature solar what they advise. But I would be cautious with that
@grosjarvis80613 ай бұрын
Be careful with that, IMO as these units are extremely sensitive to heat. They do not like to run in environments above 85 degrees although data spec is higher. Basically, the real world use is higher the load, the lower the ambient must be for this particular unit, in my experience. Also, the unit efficiency drops considerably as temp/load goes up.

So you are not selling back to the grid but you are still grid-tied i take it? If so, how are you getting past the neutral ground bonding issues? Or are you completely isolating your solar system from the grid to a load center with separate grounding? Meaning you have to manually switch between grid and off-grid.
