You saw me standing alone in the dark Lost in the silence of my heart Crying for angels crying for light Crying for someone tonight No time for wasting no time for truce No time for innocent lies Touch me like heroes straight from your eyes Lead me to worlds far beyond And I know it's you for freedom And I know you can fill the space in me I need secrets in the dark love in the shadows Passion burning out from under my skin Take me for a ride until the night time's over When daylight steals the magic of the dark I'll give no reasons and no border lines Kill the fire that brakes the heart of love No more crying for angels crying for light Crying for someone tonight And I know it's you for freedom And I know you can fill the space in me

This was a song in the 1984 (Gawd Im getting old) movie "Thief of Hearts", which was my favorite movie for years, for SOME reason, probably because of Steven Bauer. David Caruso was a newbie in this and has a famous line in the movie.." She gives *%&# like a &*#$%^@&^...yada yada, lol, this was probably the first "Cougar" movie ever with Brabara Williams playing the part perfectly

@weezerz My fave song by Donna was "Dim All the Lights". As for spelling, it seems that there is something about this site that almost encourages typos. It's like letters get transposed or deleted... Weird, eh? I had this 45, but I had no idea it was heavily played in ANY clubs, but I guess it DOES have a good beat, and one can dance to it...

I always knew about EG from her voice acting and met her once. Lovely lady; however I didn’t know she did music until I got a copy of the soundtrack to The Breakfast Club where she appeared on it doing a song called Waiting. I recently found a maxi-single of this song on vinyl that had it done in different club mixes. It was in perfect shape and the mix’s are amazing. Best 5 bucks spent lol. It was released in ‘01 by jellybean recordings. I wonder how many turntables it spun on back in the day fury parties or in club sets before it got to my hands.

this song was also recorded with english-vietnamese vocals by lynda trang dai. it sounds like they did another mix with the same gear, i'd guess given the non-commercial interests of the project. however it includes additional production (if i am correct, by tommy ngo?) which includes some nice vocal harmonies production. (i am only going on memory since i can't hear well on laptop speaker, are they vocoded?) but its a nice spin on it. (i think the video on youtube is called new wave something or other, includes the whole bilingual album).
