My dad was in Berlin for 6 months in 1938, during the annexation of the Sudetenland - he told me this march was played almost non-stop over the German radio during those days of suspense when most Germans were afraid of a new war.

Chechoslovakia didnt existist before 1918, before Bohemia kingdom was a part of the Empire of Austria-Hungary,.before 1806 it was part of HolyRomanEmpire of German Nation, since it was founded in the year 961! Got it?
