Love that your trying to up the production value kenji but the POV head cam is what set you apart and made us feel like we were right there with you. It also allows us to understand and see things from the perspective as you explain them and it makes the videos so much more personal. So please don’t loose the pov. Just something constructive- Love everything else 😊.

I love Kenji's content but can't watch any of the POV stuff without feeling nauseous. I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets motion sickness from watching through the head cam, so this sort of production, while maybe not as unique, makes it a lot more watchable for me and others.

@@bigraydawg11 The smart air fryer pro, but not the Joule. I can fit a 5qt dutch oven in it. I can fit my 10.25" cast iron skillet in it. I've dehydrated fruits. The air frying works really well. I use the proof setting to speed up my dough times. I had an old infrawave oven before that I loved as it basically had no preheat time (the Breville does) but the Breville is so simple to use and it performs so well.

Once I used a bunch of egg whites to make cream and had like 10 yolks left over. I didn't want to waste so I scrambled them for breakfast one day and I gotta say, what a breakthrough. While they aren't the healthier half, I loved it. I ate em for breakfast until I used em all, which only took 3 days. I made the really fluffy as opposed to rich and creamy. I definitely gotta try em this way.

I started doing essentially this by accident, I would be lazy and not want to use another bowl, so would dump my cooked eggs back into the bowl I whisked in. Realised it was good, then started leaving a little more in over time. But separating the yolks is a marked improvement on my method. Thank you as always, for sharing your knowledge and joy of food.

If you add cheese with/right before the yolk it should melt into the sort of sauce it makes. I havent done it exactly this way but i have dome it where i added it to the last remaining slightly thickened runny egg in making scrambled eggs normally, im sure itd work only issue is maybe that the yolk cools things down and you dont want to cook it too much after its added. A little rosemary in the butter and some cheddar near the end is how i was doing it before(i keep forgetting the rosemary)
@walterw2

took me a minute, i thought i would be left with excess yolk or white but no i'm still using all the eggs i'm going to use, this trick is entirely about cooking the yolks less! that's always the goal with eggs isn't it? whites done and yolks still sauce-y? awesome, i shall be trying it
@Gruuvin1
@Gruuvin1 4 ай бұрын
Been doing this for years but it's MUCH simpler than his method. Just crack all your eggs into the pan and don't break the yolks while you gently stir... maybe let one or two break in the beginning... but wait until close to the end of the cook when you finish breaking all the yolks. You don't need to violently stir eggs and you don't need extra bowls.
