Thank you so much for this. I was doing a herringbone diy for my first try vinyl diy and got stuck on the edges. I spent a couple hours making mistakes, sitting at loss, then found this video and replay it about 20 times until my brain got the hang of it. Before this video, I was contemplating going back to school to redo geometry then you saved me.

Is it not easier to dry fit like that then glue after or do they move about to much getting a tight fit ?

Is this H T extra adhesive ? If so will the glue not set before you finish all your cuts ?

Yep ht extra if it dryers to quickly then I'll repast but it didn't

Repast over the existing or scrape up dry glue and re glue ? How much time do you usually give yourself to work with ? I worry about it going off and not grabbing as it’s not a pressure sensitive. Usually work with karndean universal which is very similar to the amtico ht and was told by other fitters I would have hours to work with but I though this glue has to compress while it’s wet ? Thanks for your answers. Much appreciated

Scrape it then repast ht extra in the cold can be good for 30 minutes but when it's hot about 10 I love ht extra in sunny area's and over underfloor heating a subby used universal be in a sunny area but it failed so I don't take the chance but sometimes use universal in rooms with no sun hitting it. It is a good adhesive 👍

Ht extra still shrinks in sunny areas not ideal for direct sunlight. Have you tried that ardex k1 ? Was wondering what’s people experience with it is
