Are there any other known V130 installations in different low wing aircraft?
@eggenfellner3 жыл бұрын
RV12 is another with the 130 and some one-off stuff like Morgan Cougar in AUS etc. but a lot of the other low wings are the 195T

Radiators with plastic end caps will eventually crack and leak. Why not use all aluminum radiators?
@eggenfellner2 жыл бұрын
It is true that all parts have a lifespan, that includes many aluminum radiators using epoxies to hold the tubes in place. Our radiator is belly mounted, with plenty of cooling air running over the plastic - this is different than in a car where these fitting also take the abuse from the elevated under hood temperatures. Even when the vehicle is parked. We don't run a pressurized cooling system and that any slight leak would be detected way before any part failure. So far, never seen a leak in all these years..

I'm sorry, but that radiator and fuel cell appear to be extremely susceptible to small rock impact- causing damage by punching holes in places.

Hey there, many people have had this question over the years. It has NEVER been an issue, even with many doing back country flying etc. If it is a concern from some they add a flap onto the nose wheel to help :)

Whats the max speed with the V130?
@eggenfellner3 жыл бұрын
As high as the aircraft allows. They can reach VNE in this aircraft, but every one is going to be different.
