Eggless Atta Chocolate Cake | No Eggs, No maida, Wholewheat Chocolate Walnut Cake- simple recipe!

I baked this cake last evening (it’s over already) and it came out really good. Two things I did differently were 1. Used unprocessed sugar (naatu sakkarai) instead of castor sugar. 2. Added some chocolate pieces (had some abandoned amul chocolate lying in the fridge). It gave a nice gooey surprise in every other bite. The coffee intensified the colour and the flavour of the cocoa, so it looked and tasted chocolaty-er. Can’t even tell that it’s an atta cake. Storing this as my go-to chocolate cake recipe.

This turned out fantastic! Rose beautifully and the atta went so well with the coffee and cocoa combined. I roasted the walnuts to top it off...and that added to the earthy nutty flavour of the cake. Too good!

A wow recipe...that works bang on exactly as desired...Tried it today and it came out awesome..have baked whole wheat cake before too but this was the first time it came out so well with required fluffiness..just to add on with jaggery a lil but more than sugar needs to be added to make it of required sweetness.

Turned out really, really good. I couldn’t get the hints of coffee - so highly recommend letting the warm milk absorb the coffee for at least half an hour in advance. Super delicious and incredibly healthy too! Also added chocolate chips:)

Made this cake. It turned out delicious. Used the beater instead of folding the wet mix as it had lot of lumps despite good sieve. I guess adding some pieces of dark chocolate would make it better!
