Eggman walk cycle glow up 2.0

I know I only uploaded the original video around an hour ago. But I did get some very helpful advice from some people to add a little extra movement to Eggman's upper body to match the smoother walk cycle.
I may go back and make some extra tweaks later, but I think it's looking a lot better now. Thanks everyone for all the positive comments.
[Original Description] I like to think I've gotten better at sprite editing over the years. While the sprite sheet I'm currently using for Eggman is pretty good, it is somewhat lacking in some areas. The walk cycle bugged me especially because of how janky it looked in motion. So I decided to take some time to add more inbetweeners to smooth it out.
It's hardly Metal Slug levels of sprite art, but it gets the job done.

The original looks smooth but a bit too bouncy in a rubber sort of way, Version 1.0 is way smoother but a tad lifeless, Version 2.0 definitely feels the most life-like with the mustache bounce and small bit of upper body movement. Really cool to see all the differences!

The bounce doesn't quite make sense either since you would think at the point in the walk cycle where his leg is longest is when he should be tallest. The original suffers the same problem but the glow up exacerbated this.

You can tell Mark is a perfectionist when it comes to his work. He pays so much attention to detail, which shows how much passion and care goes into his projects. Individually, every little polish doesn’t seem like much, but when you see them all in the finished product, it makes a world of a difference.

The tiniest of things that you’re doing, Mark, to improve is honestly amazing to me. And I agree with you, the walk cycle Eggman already has in the sheet, while good, does feel a little off, so it makes sense why you fixed this. Number 3 also has much better Followthrough and Overlapping action. Like his torso goes up, then his arms start a little later, then his moustache a little later than that. It better emulates a bounce and keeps the whole model "bouncing" even though the actual bounce happened many frames prior

It's things like this that really make me appreciate Mark as a creator. Nobody would have complained if he used the original animation as is, but he went through the effort of improving it anyway because he cares about quality. The bouncy hands and mustache is a small detail I don't think anyone will notice, but it is a very nice addition. I'm not well-tuned in sprite making so I don't think I have much else to offer, but I like it.
