Thanks for watching and commenting. I usually use copper. I can’t say I’ve noticed much of a difference. I’m usually more concerned with the weight. I like to tie these with a 3.2 mm bead or higher because I like them to roll on the bottom.

You bet! For the video, I used size 14 jig hooks. I will pair those with either a 2.8 mm or 3.2 mm bead.

I don’t think the trout will care! I think they take them for egg clusters anyway which aren’t perfectly round.
