Many new shops in ten years. Even a new Waitrose wow! We used to have only Tesco. For Sainsbury we used to travel to Staines.

Hi, super random and I’m not sure if you’ll see this considering you posted this video a few months ago. I’m looking into royal Holloway and I was concerned about whether there is a bookshop near, like Waterstones or anything like that that sells fantasy or young adult books, and if shopping in the town is actually something fun to do. The area itself concerns me because I’m worried I won’t like it in terms of shopping or having a day out

yeah there's loads in staines which is only a train ride :) dw i never shop in egham cuz there's not much there.. staines & windsor is the place to go & it's cheap and easy to get there!

How hard is it to get into London from campus? If you don't have a car. Like how long does it usually take and can you do it without switching trains/buses a bunch of times? I'm strongly considering Royal Holloway but I'm worried of getting bored in such a small town!

40 mins by train :), it's very easy, when you arrive in egham just take the university bus
