Thanks for this lesson. Even with simple dance routines, we can always learn something. I see the fun you have and that motivates me to keep practicing.

Egrils, what's your vision on Sway and speed in the Natural turn? I'm taught that it must be not too extreme and the QQ is kind of shortened of timingwise, all this is because there is not much time. Secondly i see many, many people not closing their feet in the Natural in QS, especially when their routine starts with a Natural Turn. In the books there is no exception to unclose the feet, but i've not either heard of it in practical, , slight exceptional, esthetical competition tip. Even if it was, i don't find it beautiful. The question is: Why would competitors do this? Thirdly in the Hesitation you could apply Sway to the left (Man), is that right? ( As in correct, not the angle of course 😁)?

Thanks For your Questions. In Quickstep Natural Turn sway on steps 2-3 should be less than in Waltz because of timing (QQ). Feet should be closed on step 3 as accurately as we can, although no one is perfect :) In hesitation one can choose to do sway for effect!
