Their history is interesting. Their first vocalist got kicked out and went on to form Of Mice And Men. Caleb, the unclean vocalist here went on to form Beartooth after Attack Attack! broke up and after their guitarist/clean vocalist here left he went on to form Bilmuri. They broke up for awhile and reformed with new members. The only original members left are their drummer and other guitarist. It's confusing, I know.

Didn't the bassist basically drop off the face of the earth as well?

Maybe the most iconic band of that crabcore era, I mean, the term and the sound associated with it were literally named after their first single, Stick Stickly. The clean singer here is Johnny Franck, best known for being Bilmuri; it's kind of a band but, to my knowledge, Johnny writes everything and collabs with the producer to make the album, and then brings in studio musicians for recording. The lead vocalist is Caleb Shomo, known now for *his* project, Beartooth. You almost can't tell it's him, cuz it seems like he's only doing false cord screams on this song/album, but in Beartooth he sings and does fry screams, which sound completely different. Also, before Caleb was the vocalist, Austin Carlile was the founding (i think?) lead vocalist, but got booted after the first album. He's known for founding Of Mice & Men, and being with them for the first 4 albums. At the time, he was one of the biggest figures in the scene, up there with Oli Sykes and Kellin Quinn and all them.

Attack Attack was so good. But had so many different lineups with creating so many bands in the scene. 1st album screams were done by Austin Carlile who formed Of Mice & Men (but now departed them). This album and until the broke up had Caleb Shomo (of Beartooth) doing uncleans. Both Of Mice & Men and Beartooth were formed by former Attack Attack Members. They broke up about 2010? And reformed with like their 4th lineup in 2020, but the new lineup unfortunately hasn’t captured the same feel.

Ugh, I love this band with all my heart. The music fucks so hard, and it was way ahead of the curve stylistically.
