If you want to try to test the throw distance for any machine really, you have to point the chute straight ahead and point it straight up in the air. I have the same machine, this is my 8th season with it. Love it 😊

Glad to hear! Do you do anything special for storing the batteries? I use them in the push mower, so they get cycled almost year round…maybe a two month window of no activity twice a year. I just make sure they are inside…but I want mine to last 8 years too! 😂

@@Randyisanerd Not really no, I just leave them in my garage. Not heated but its part of the house so it doesn't go below 50 in there. so far I only ever use my 7.5's for the snow blower and my three 5's get cycled with my power inverter as needed. I'll rotate the 7.5's with my mower, cut grass like once a week. then I'll use the 5's on my handheld blower. I'm about to purchase the power washer, probably around end of April or Beginning of May. I'll get the one with batteries. I think 6's come with it. Probably keep those on the back burner for a bit.

@@beezer5623how is the scraper bar? I want this machine but I’ve heard horrible things about the scraper bar

@@MrTs7520 I’ll be honest and give you basically exactly my experience. I just replaced it last season. The first like 3 years, I never paid attention to it. After that I do know it was beat to hell. Lots of chips and divots in the blade area that directly hits uneven surfaces. Used it for another few years. I honestly can say I never had any issues. I decided to replace it because I just felt like it. Was the blade part damaged? Yes. Was the underneath part worn down so the metal part was scraping on the driveway? I don’t think so. Not sure really. This is my first machine so my maintenance knowledge isn’t the best. My personal theory on the scraper bar with other people’s complaints is I truly believe they are replacing them to soon. Just because that blade part is damaged doesn’t mean it isn’t working. I was cleaning down to pavement no problem. Where you need to think about replacing it is only when the bottom of the scraper bar is worn down to where you are getting the bottom edge metal riding on the ground. Does that make sense? I can make a video on this if you want me to.

@@beezer5623 This helps a lot thank you. Typically people complain about it not working but the stuff they talk about would make any snowblower have issues. Some said they used it 3x and had to replace it others never said they had to . I am not sure if they are not looking at the bar or not. I heard the shoes help a ton but I also heard the newer ones are not flat on the side so it doesnt work so well. I video would be great if its not a big deal. Thank you
