Mine failed to start almost immediately after I purchased it. I found a solution (dumb solution, but it works). Unclip the handle and push the first section of the handle all the way down into the second section of the handle that's attached to the mower. Now pull it all the way out and lock it in place. If you do this each time the mower starts 100% of the time. Maybe they developed this mower to always be folded up and hung on the wall so that you'll always do this handle procedure? I have no need to hang the mower on the wall, I park it in the garage just like I did with my gas mower. Maybe doing this procedure somehow makes the broken wire connect that this guy is showing us? That doesn't sound right though. I'm just glad the very expensive mower is working and starting. Another major disappointment on a major purchase. I won't buy another Ego mower ever again (I have an Ego leaf blower and weed wacker and they are both very good). I resist buying stuff now for fear of low quality crap that many companies are making even if you purchase the most expensive versions (low cost is usually low quality...well that's the way it used to work anyway).

The small three wire (red, black and blue) cable is broken. I fixed mine by replacing it.

Had to do a warranty repair. The parts to fix it were on backorder, so they just sent me a new mower. Took about 5 weeks total to get the new one and get my original battery back.

emiller4a yeah looks like that’s what’s coming for me as well. Customer support told me to bring it in to Home Depot parts rental dept and let them sort it out. 5 weeks tho? Damn! Oh well at least it’s still under warranty. Thanks for the reply 🤙
