Knowing that I am perishable, what is way out to know my imperishable part? As you say is it to remind my mind,intellect that this body is perishable? Then ego still exists. Gurunath only your grace can take me out.

Love the cycle of mind(the ego)with your heart and it will unfold so your soul can learn what it is seeking from the ego experience. This self understanding of mind and ego will return you to your soul consciousness and the soul is always at peace. This is just my experience of this problem of ego. The ego is just your self image that is you bodies and brain interpretation of how others see you and in the end self image is just an mind image that you belief to be real.

The "I-maker" is the expression He is using. Ahamkara is the image maker, the construct of the ego which is the "I maker". 3~HY

The ego serves a purpose, Gurunath teachers, providing interaction and feedback in our physical experience. Let the ego serve you in that way, objectively, while you simply drop your identification with it, and joyfully affirm your identification with the Divine. Say the words morning & night he gave you: "I am spirit, I am truth, I am love divine, this body-mind a dream of mine." Let the ego serve you, and you (your TRUE SELF-SPARK of the Divine) serve the Divine. OMMM
