It will fly pretty high... the biggest issues/trick though is dealing with the wind. If it is not being blown around lowish to the ground, then you should be able to test the "ceiling" limits... if it is being blown away by the wind though.. it is more likely to go out of range because of that then just flying over your head.

I bought this drone around 4-5 years ago and the first flight we crashed on take off we got the wing balance fixed and never used it again, just pulled it out of the garage today and turned on the helicopter and all the lights flashed up so the battery is still working hopefully we can take it out and give it a very first flight

I don't think that you ever mentioned the other button opposite the light button.We may have different models or years, but it kicks the tail rotor into high gear. You have to do it every time but worth it in the wind. I think its only the tail rotor speed that's affected. Another thing i do to fight the wind is tape a quarter/dime/penny ( depending on wind) to the bottom of the nose. Its always fun to change the balance and get a new flight experience. There may be a trim setting on the remote you can try... Otherwise it sounds like the device isn't balance/weighted right... So you may try adding weight in the opposite corner of the direction it is going to see if that helps at all.

provided you are not dealing/flying in to wind it isn't bad. Also you don't exactly want it to fly too fast as if you loose signal that would be a bad thing.

You have to download the video from the memory card to your computer. There is a different model out there that has live video, but it is not this one.

In my experience it is limited only by the range of the remote/receiver and your own eyesight. I am not sure how much they can lift.

I've flown this helo over 10 times and it seems to be pretty durable. I've crashed a few times and it's held up so far. The gyro is weak at best - have to constantly adjust trim to fly straight. Otherwise a great helo for the price...

Very durable helicopter but I can't seem to keep mine hovering in one place. The thing wants to always fly either backwards or forwards immediately on takeoff! I have adjusted the trim and it seems to help some but there's no way I could think about flying it in doors lol.

Hi i have one of these... we havent flown it for about 3yrs, re had to reset the remote as would not light up at all... i got the top blade turning for a couple of seconds by doing a quick up and down on the throttle, and back tail blade turns sometimes... i can't get it to work properly again... any ideas?

I wouldn't put the carry capacity too high... I show the built-in video quality in the video... If you are looking for a device to mount a camera too... you would probably do better with a "Quad Copter" like you see in Brookstone etc... that link up with an iPhone

@xadam2dudex well aren't you just on the ball today... Luckily it is a spare room and there was no furniture to move. No wall repairs needed, just a little Mr Clean magic eraser. I think the NTSB has more pressing matters.the SD card is for the internal video. It can hold roughly a half hour or so of footage. Well it is not exactly the speediest of thing, but sure would be cost effective

@megatron2015 I don't know what they will send me next of review. I just received 3 IP Security type cameras today with infrared and wireless. I set them up and am able to view them both in and out of the house which is pretty fricking sweet! I will be reviewing those after I finish the Teclast A15 9" tablet review.

I have only reviewed this one... and unfortunately, unless you get a high priced one that can fly outside without worrying about wind... you probably don't want one that travels too fast indoors.
