But if even I -someone who took 7 years to finally get their shit together for singing- can sing even higher pitched songs like Teo without my voice dying then it shouldn’t be much of a problem for the actual VAs

It may sound good but the sound is a little bit off. It's not a harmony but rather a solo act for flower when they're this high. It was not an option for Sega to add flower instead of meiko. Meiko has a nice deep voice that is good with everyone else's. Both versions are good though
