I love this theme all the way through, there are so many interesting parts I just had to hear (especially your take on the quieter part 3/4 of the way in) Is there any element of a song that makes it more or less fun to play/master?

When it comes to learning a piece, I personally really like if there's a fast-paced/crazy passage at some point. Stuff like 0:44 immediately makes me want to learn the piece and master it, though for some people it may actually be the opposite lol Fast-paced passages could very well scare them away, for example.

It's actually a mix of both! I try to follow the emotions and vibes of the original song as best as I can, but I also like to mess around with some passages. For example, in this one I stay true to the original for the most part and then kinda play around at 0:45 :) But yeah, it's mostly from "memory". I mean, I've listened to the original themes SO many times that I literally know them by heart lol And if the theme is new (like the Touhou 19 demo OST), then I listen to it until I get it memorized :)
