This song was huge. We were dancing 🕺 to it at the super underground and chic “the Apartment” (had to be a club kid) in Los Angeles in the mid eighties, and at Prince’s club. Hollywood’s Florentine Gardens played it every Saturday night along with “One More Shot”. Such memories. Our Ba-Tzu clothes from the Beverly Center inspired by Lisa Bonet. Damn we had great teenage years growing up in Los Angeles 83-89. My memories of this song are pivotal. Pete Burns was huge to us as well.
