This boy Sai Abhyankar, 19 year old, from a Musical family. His Mother is a singer since 1996 introduced by AR Rahman. His Father too a Singer since 2000 and has sung 1000+ songs till date. In this album, the female singer is his elder sister but not the dancer in the video. It is heard from Sai himself that he has been composing music since the age 11. About your mentioning of the quality of Music from South India, the very reason for that the south of India has been enriched by Classical Music dotting 1000's of years and it has lot of counts of beats (we call it Thala's), And those beats have sub counts that are called (as Mathras). And this sub count of Mathra ranging from 3 to 10. That means for the number 3, in one beat it is 123 on a slow speed; 123, 123 on a medium speed, 123,123,123,123 on high speed. For the Number 4, slow 1234 Medium Speed 1234 1234 high speed 1234 - 4 times.The same applies to percussion instruments also. Our forefathers have mastered the art of classical music in these method and have devised it very precisely.
