Facet of Blessing is useless since Knockout got its old health regen added back, I would use Facet of Protection over it for more Survivalibility and the extra strength stat increase

I use this with build with better devils or mykel's reverence with pugilist/swashbuckler and the fragment that grants your strand weapons unravelling rounds on melee kills. This makes more enemies affected with a strand debuff so thunderclap does more damage with facet of courage without needing a grenade or diamond lance; It also helps with add clear on slightly tankier targets; last it helps with building transcendence faster. This also gives anti-barrier without facet of dawn (so no stat penalty) and I don't think the fragment that heals on melee kills is really needed when you already have knockout and healing from orbs.

Yeah 😔 I miss OG Storm grenades with it. It was the best honestly. Sad to see it go. Like you said anything arc centric only brings back depressing fever dream memories of it.

@@makingacomment It was such an incredibly fun loop. Punch, thrusters back, throw grenade. 3 seconds later repeat. What sucks is they didn't just nerf the damage, they nerfed the entire loop making it nowhere near as consistent. Hunters had the same thing with Young ahamdragon spine, it got nerfed into oblivion but bungie just brought it back. I am really hoping that means hoil might return or we get a new exotic that just brings back that whole loop for arc only.

I hope there’s more buffs like this on the way. Consecration has been the only thing for a while. Once nerfed, I hope both are somewhat equals to have two choices instead of THE obvious one. Warlock could use a buff of sorts for melees too. I have personally never used the Arc, Void and Stasis melees, since Snap and slide melee are just too good. I’d like more options overall.

They can leave Consecration untouched, but they need to buff the other aspects, Drengers Lash no one uses because it doesn't really do anything potent, diamond lance is great, Knockout is good, UNBREAKABLE NEEDS to do more damage on its blast and give you more of a void overshield (like it used to), buff the other melees like shield throw so it tracks better and comes back to you and does 40% more damage. If the other melees were more powerful, and the other aspects more potent, then Consecration wouldn't be a must pick

Warlock melees are a disaster in PVE. Void melee is pathetic and has little to no utility, both arc melees deal hilariously low damage and the bonuses from being amplified are underwhelming too. Strand melee and snap are the only good ones. Lightning Surge pales in comparison to Consecration

stasis melee is good for the instant freeze even if a free ignite or three charges of arcane needle is better

use the stasis shard fragment (I think command) to make shards with the lances. The shards each give you 1/5 of your melee back. Use the ice grenade too while you're at it to make more shards and lances

This is indeed really fun, I just wish this exotic refunded some energy on hits and not only on kills, would make it a lot more viable in end game

You guys are really sleeping on Facet of Command... Why play Diamond Lance without opting into it? And now use your brain again and switch that fucking Shackle Nade to a full grown man's Glacier Grenade. Goodness Edit: Facet of Blessing does nothing in this build as someone already pointed out. Probably best combo (depending on the situation) would be Courage, Dawn, Awakening, Command, Protection.

If yo don’t wanna get clapped in semi difficult content, swap out blessing for protection and run blade fury or glacial quake for woven mail or frost armor and then spam the slams from the lances for more frost armor. Also run protection. This guy has no idea what he’s talking about. Running lances and never slamming for frost armor is terrible💀

I agree... facet of command is amazing! Reloads your weapons when you freeze enemies and give you a stasis shard (which gives you malee energy) when you break a stasis crystal. This facet got me into using Glacial nades. I have never went back to shackle nades since.

This build is way better on mono arc. Diamond Lance does nothing for you, you get your melee back way faster with the amount of iconic traces you make on full arc, and touch of thunder is still very strong.

If you’re only source of frost armor is diamond lances you’ll be lucky to get more than x2 stacks since there is a cool down on lance generation. That’s like next to no DR. After the roaming buff, I would run Bladefury 100% with Facet of Purpose and focus this build(exotic and melee choices) into creating orbs to maintain woven mail as much as possible. And I hate to say this, but I do legitimately agree with others that your just better off running Stoicism with Spirit of Synthocepes and Contact. I think Thunder clap has a bit more flexibility in use but that lacks compared to 3 charges of high Damage.

Definitely not better than consecration but it is GM viable. Even before prismatic, point contact brace was always in my build rotation for gms. Skullfort would be a decent replacement but definitely not as good for harder content because it will be less damage

I pity anyone who carries a contact build into a GM... you gonna get wrecked while charging that garbage malee. This is why titan mains mainly rock HOIL + Synthos and run the concercration build. Contact has the potential to be great but it needs more damage before I would even consider using it over my HOIL + Synthos build.

The uptime is definitly not better than consecration. Consecration has a endless loop with baton + glacial quake where you have your super or transcendence (=endless melees) with like a 99% uptime cause 2 baton shots + 1 super is enough to fill your transendence and during your transendence you get your super up again. There is nothing that gets even close to how strong consecration until bungie nerfs transendence energy generation super hard or atleast fixes how much energy area denial GLs can generate

@@Dk.097 yea playing mone carlo like ehroar does is like 100% pointless. you would get better results and higher uptime with the same gameplay loop consecration uses. there is no reason to play a melee generating extotic like monte carlo when you can just can get a nearly 99% uptime on transendence which gives you better melee reg and ontop your prismatic grenande + big DR. Area denial GL + matching super of the other element (baton + darkness super ; lost sginal + light super) is just the best way to play any prismatic build by so far that everything else isnt worth to consider

@@Max-9871 Exactly!! The only way to have a build that competes with consecration on titan is to completely rework prismatic titan. Take the thermite grenade off and give them fusion grenades, replace hammer strike with throwing hammer, replace drengr’s lash with BoW, and replace abeyant on the class item with ashen wake. However this only works if they allow throwing hammer to work with one-two punch again. I know it’s a lot but they dug themselves into a deep hole with what they did to titans and it’s the only build I can think of for the class that could compete with it 🤷🏾‍♂️ it’s simply too good 😭

Don’t think it will get nerfed unfortunately a healthy nerf to it would be targeting synthoceps in reality the ability alone is good it’s what you can add to it like spirit of point contact or syntho even severance. You obviously could target the strand melee first maybe make it just 2 charges instead of 3 but that will indirectly nerf the BoW strand titan build aswell I personally think it’s synthoceps unfortunately that’s needs another hit.

Please check out out stocism spirit of inmost+spirit of contact glacial quake super. The super itself is coded as melee and I mean both moves and adds jolt.😈 you know where I’m going with this. Also spirit of contact procs on the first up swing of consecration so it kills most things with that. Like yo prismatic is addictive I can’t get off.☠️

I dont know why these titan builds dont use the weapons from crota raid. Since your punch'n yo ass off why not take advantage of the intrinsic perk. I use a strand/void prismatic build using twilight arsenal super. Exotic class item with Inmost light/Synthoceps. Fang of ir yut scout, baton or dead messenger breach gl, and wicked sister gl. Facet of awakening/purpose/balance/bravery/protection. Knockout/consecration. Frenzied blade/Shackle grenade. Got explosions after melee with the scout and unraveling rounds on top of that. After grenade kills have volatile rounds with the breach GL which now does overload and barrier. Then have heavy gl with kinetic impacts and has unraveling rounds after melee kills. Which does barrier and unstoppable champs. I personally think its the most op build this season for Titan because everything goes together like a puzzle. Abilities to the max and your weapons are to the max with the added benefit for spamming abilities to get volatile rounds and unraveling rounds. Plus i use supernova to weaken after picking up void breach and power from pain so im getting devour to proc too.

How about STOP nerfing and start buffing other aspects? When Unbreakable had the thermite grenade bug where it did max damage instantly, people actually moved off of consecration and used unbreakable. If the other aspects did more damage, as well as the other melees (like shield throw, which needs better tracking and more damage) then Consecration wouldn't be a must pick.

@@kyledea187mdkjr5no, that aspect needs to be removed from prismatic I know this is gonna sound weird but it’s not good enough for a buff. The ability just does what it does and there isn’t really a change to be made to it that would make it better, for example they made it work with thrusters and nobody cared. If they removed that aspect and added BoW and removed the hammer strike and replaced it with throwing hammer then consecration would have a real challenge with knockout and BoW paired with the throwing hammer. Prismatic titan outside of consecration is weak compared to the variety of builds with the other classes, it needs a rework 🤷🏾‍♂️

Get one melee kill to get ~33% total health. Even uncharged melee kills count towards that benefit of Knockout Aspect. It's actually very easy to survive mate.
