Eibos Filament Dryer Review

Having bought my own EIBOS Cyclopes dryer and used it for a few weeks now, the most awkward thing about it is that when you thread the filament through the front bottom hole and then put the cover on, you end up with loose filament within the cover. The heater softens the filament and allows it to get some very sharp bends in it. I'm thinking of printing some auto-retractors, which I need anyway for my Palette 3 Pro. But I'm also concerned that anything 3D-printed would soften when used inside the drying chamber. I need to do some engineering work to sort this out.

What is the largest spool you can fit inside the machine? I run the 2.5kg spools.
