Was posted in this ancient land. The basic ancient culture, ethnicity, language, etc. remains significantly untouched by time. Today though most of the Valley has accepted a fine religion the Semitic-Islam. Thus many people in the Valley follow Semitic (Muslims in this case) Islam in religion yet like most Iranians are Aryans by Race. Iran today still has the Zoroastrians who never converted to Islam while Kashmir has the Kashmiri Brahmans (Pandits) who never did convert to Islam. Kashmiriyat thus will never become extinct.
