The absolute "best" performance I've EVER seen with larger rings (separated, not connected) was part of a 1991 PBS Great Performances program titled "Michael Moschen in Motion". Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a video of his TRULY AMAZING performance since then.

Well,I can't say I'm first person who made up with those manipulation except for some tricks(2 eightrings with one hand style or etc) but I can say that I made up with those manipulations by myself(Inspired by magnetic batons of Pich)
