There are lots of songs I like that feature a rap - some of my favourites ever - but they are by Artist Name Here FEATURING the rapper. I suppose it comes down to how much of the track is from samples. And I love a cleverly used sample! But when it's ALL samples, isn't it just a cover (remake) featuring a rap and not a "new song". But I guess, ultimately, I don't really care ... so long as the original songwriters and publishers are getting paid.
