Those eggs are called pysanki and are made by the lost wax method and dipping in many colours. Every colour you want to keep you cover in bees wax and then dip into another colour. At the end you gently heat the wax coverings usually with a candle and wipe it off revealing the patterns. Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.

You hit gold! Longaberger is very expensive as you know! The collectors club one you had to pay a fee to join in order to buy the collector exclusives! You will make money off of them! They're in good shape!

My dad has an estate sale/tag sale business located in Ohio and a couple of months ago he had an estate sale for a family that had over 100 longaberger baskets (we are in Ohio not far from where they were made). We sold almost all of them at such reasonable prices and the second day they were all half off - we had some of the similar baskets you saw at Goodwill and we sold them for amazing prices on the second day of the sale as the goal was to just sell everything. A lady came to our sale and told us that she worked at Longaberger many years ago and whenever the CEO of the company would come by their desk they would ask him to sign baskets (if they had them available) and he was always willing to sign them for the employees. There is a great history with regard to those baskets.😊😊

Yes, the eggs are Ukrainian. Red, black and gold are the traditional colors, but a variety of colors are used now. A chicken size egg is around the 20 dollar range and an ostrich egg can be worth more than a hundred. Toulouse Latrec was an artist in Paris. He was famous for paintings of theatre, restaurants and nightclubs, particularly the Moulin Rouge (red mill). He did several posters for that nightclub.
