i feel like some of the complaints here on the figurerise when it comes to build materials and color accuracy are rather moot when in fact bandai model kits are made with color injection and not actual paint for modelers to easily customize their figure. meanwhile, you can't really customize sh figuarts as easily as you can with a model kit Bottom line, obviously the sh figuarts is going to look better than figurerise OOB when you havent put any effort into the figurerise and just did a straight build.

Im only getting the figuarts but I wish they did what figure rise did and make the shoulder part on the jacket and not the arms. Its one of the dymbest things figuarts have ever done. It always looks unnatural when the arms are rotated.

Bardock SSJ3 true but i like more sh figuarts because the durability of the plastic is over 9,000 better than the figurise. I know that figure rise have a lower cost but now i see figurise standar starting to cost 40 dollar, 50 dollar and i not going to pay that quantity for a figurise standar is better to pay 20 dollar more for sh figuarts.

one for me i buy the model kits because i been building Gundams since last year this year i just build Gundam thunderbolt and he makes number 9 or 8 lost count. so some sh figure arts characters like majin vegeta he like a 80 or 100$ figure from what i see . also if i have too i will buy dragon start too to save money. model kits i do not mind or building . also for sh figure arts they keep selling out that is why i do not want to buy them 60$ or 100$ a piece fuck that i save some money .

Clearly, Figure rise is the superior figure. Dragon Stars is a tolerable substitute for SHF, and some of the figures are good, but most aren't good display pieces or good action figures because of their limited articulation. But Figure rise, in some cases, can make figures on par with SHF, like Piccolo, the SSJ4s, and the androids

On Amazon some figurats I have gotten are $50 some $70. So i think the $150 is dependant upon the figure. I have never paid $150 for a shfiguart because i don't have that kind of money. I live in Serbia have more than 20 dragonball sh figuarts I have ordered from nippon yasan, nin-nin games, bbts, ebay and amazon. Prices vary depending on when you order the figure. If I preorder figure from let's say bbts, the price for broly for an example is 80$ + 8-16$ worldwide shipping fepending on the weight of the fig and lastly, duty taxes, in total it is about 120$. I always try to preorder my sh figuarts because that way I don't need to deal with scalpels and their skyrocketing prices on ebay and other online stores.The good thing about bbts is that they do not raise their product prices through time like other stores do, on the other hand nippon yasan and nin-nin are great because I never get duty taxes on their shipments because they send their packages as a person, not as a shop, so I don't get that kind of expenses with them, but you need to be careful because if you do not preorder your fig right away, they will pump up the price later on. You need to research and keep tracking the tamashii nation release schedule so you can prepare the budget and hunt down preorders while they are reasonably priced. The problem is that you waited on gogeta and did not order him as he came up for preorder, that is how it goes with sh figuarts, they are highly demanded and shop owners use it to get more income.
