I just adore this guy for showing us the other side of the world. I would have never knew that how advanced the world has got if it wasn't for these videos. I remember, once I was a kid, we were buying ice-creams from McDonalds in Sharjah, UAE. Since I was a kid, I dropped my ice cream on the counter, standing embarrased. The counter lady, instead of getting annoyed or demanding money, gave me another ice cream that too for free! And she was a Non-Muslim by the way. I don't think that would have happened in Pakistan. Yes, only Muslims will enter Jannah but for what? We also have to acknowledge the rights of Creations along with the Creator. These people are dis-believers but trust me they are more loyal and honest than us. We just don't acknowledge our mistakes because we think we are Muslims and will enter Jannah definitely. The Justice/loyalty that was in the time of Rightly Guided Caliphs, have been adopted by the West now where it was supposed to be adopted by Muslims. I know that not all Pakistanis are dis-honest, but the ratio of dis-honesty is more than honesty, at least in businesses 😞.

Here in India, we don’t even have to go to any box like this.. the Amazon or Flipkart guy comes home the next day on the given time to pick up returns. The Fashion and lifestyle site Myntra is so prompt on returns .. they normally give 15 days to ‘No Questions Asked’ return on your clothes or shoes or whatever.. Btw.. They have lockers in USA/Canada bcoz mannual labour is quite expensive there. India has no problem of manpower that's the reason we have door step policies delivery and return policies. By the way my cousin's and Many friends live in Canada, Aus. They all have shared ki inn cheezo me India me life way way better hai. You have abundance of manpower present so there will be hardly any issue phir wo e-commerce ho ya household helper. For all the Pakistani's they need to understand India has quite strong ecommerce and tech presence. 🙂

I live in London…recently moved from India.! I must say the facility we get in India is even better than UK.! You don’t have to go to the lockers also because of the cheap labour..! No minimum order in flipkart like amazon which is 20 pounds for most of the items..! Flipkart gives open box delivery facility for many items specially electronics to avoid any fraud.

To bring such efficient services in Pakistan the first thing to work on is our banking system. Most people who do online shopping in Pakistan pay through CoD. Thats because most Pakistanis don't have bank accounts. This not only financially effects the seller i.e in case the buyer doesn't accept the order the seller bears the delivery charges. And the second and most important issue is, because of most of the buyers paying through CoD, it reduces the amount of tax that could've been collected had the transaction been online.

In Pakistan I've learnt that once the money has left your pocket, it's game over 99% of the time. Even the tiniest of mistake will come back to bite hard. Besides other books, I purchased a mathematics book from Urdu bazar several years ago. I wasn't too sure about the book but the shopkeeper assured me that I could return it whenever I comeback to Urdu bazar again. I went back to Urdu bazar after 3 months and the shopkeeper refused to acknowledge the book was even purchased from his shop, let alone his word. When I insisted, he was ready to assault me so I backed out. But that taught me a precious lesson to never expect returns.

Same bro, i bought inch tape from hardware shop in Nazimabad no. 2, Next day i went again to his shop to ask him if he can return it cause i bought the wrong one from his shop but he said it's not belong from his shop... He could say he will not return it but He LIED !!! More even he verbally abuse me when i told him the truth that this device belongs to his shop... I thought to return them and somehow i knew ke return nahi hoga still i went the same day but he refused to return rather told me to exchange ..and we know kuch sellers retrun or exchange donow hi nahi karte ..so hamain bhi pata hona chahiye ke yeh cheez return nahi hogi specially after 3 months which is a long time…aur jahan tak yeh youtuber baat karaha hai isne bhi irresponsible tareeqe se purchase ki hai kiyunke isko pata tha ke paise mil jayenge to isne bina soche samjhe order kia usko khol bhi dia kiyunke na iske abba ka kuch jaraha hai na amazon ka , nuqsan to us seller ka hua hai jo amazon per bech raha tha . Agar isko dar hota ke ek lakh doob sakte hain to yeh us product ke baare main 100 jaga details parhta review parhta phir khareedta…

Behtreen policy, moreover it's also the sunnah "Exchange and return must be ensure in the business" but we muslims don't even have fear. Non-muslims don't even know this sunnah but somehow they're following these without even knowing that's why prosperous everywhere in the world. Here in muslim countries (Talking about my 🇵🇰) shopkeepers don't return these type of sealed packed items and if some do return, they will definitely drag your request for many days or cut some amount.

Though i completely get his consumer side of the story. I have to say things are mis-used in Pakistan. Here people misuse the return policy and often use the product and return it on the 7th day. I've had various such incidents where customers have used the products and returned it for no reason plus they often return someone else's product to us. People usually misuse whatever facility is given to them in this country.

This video reminded me of when I went to buy a new monitor for my PC. It was the first time so I went to many shops; Long story short there's this shop in Karachi called 'Zah computers', I've heard their name many times and have seen reviews online so went there. They gave a really good deal at a price that no one else did but what got me was the guy told me if I take it home and don't like it or I want to replace it with a different model I can just return it no questions asked within the warranty timeframe (1-2 months I think). I was thinking to myself that in the future I'll definitely buy from them again. And guess what, they're Pakistan's best (or one of the best) companies when it comes to monitors. And I see this trend in other big companies as well but as this was my personal experience so I wanted to share.

They will show their true colors if you actually went back to return the monitor. Long time ago my brother gave me a gift of a mp3 player, purchased from Uni Center. The shopkeeper gave us various assurances and made a return card of 1 year, and a repair card for 2 years after that. Basically I was supposed to feel protected for 3 years. The player developed some fault so I took it to the shop within 1 month and he out right refused to entertain us, then I offered to pay for the repair to which he agreed and tried to repair but couldn't repair either. That is how worthless such warranties are.

So true, I’d much rather order from big companies knowing their return policy is simple which matters the most specifically in e-commerce. As much as I want to promote small businesses in Pakistan, I had some really bad experiences, sometimes the item won’t work or even be the same and they won’t return
