Somehow this song reminds me of one reason why I could never marry anyone with a serious career. I routinely do baby talk at home, even to adults. After listening to this day in and day out, one day my spouse would slip up and do baby talk at work--a potentially costly mistake.

There's an online photo of Otto von Bismarck on his "deathbed" which shows a nice clear shot of his nose in profile. It is Blixa's nose precisely. For that matter it's also Leonardo da Vinci's exact same nose. I always knew you could not be of this world.

I love this video. I have no idea what it's about. He definitely has a smile going on, which is unusual. I've only seen his videos;and he always seems so stoic. He should smile more often. It does the body good.

Above and below your comment are some explanations of this song. It's a German variation on "Lord Randall," or at least it's on the same theme, and actually very similar. I seem to remember the booklet to "Strategies Against Architecture II" referring to it as "Medieval peasant blues," but if so that's wrong; it's newer than that.
