Einstein and Jeff Make Lunch Together

Einstein and Jeff are in the kitchen while Marcia is out running errands. Jeff made lunch for Einstein. You can see how Einstein watches the whole process and provides instructions for Jeff and imitates with sounds such as microwave beeps and the banging sound of a utensil on the side of a dish. Usually he will make the sound of water, but this time he tells Jeff to get some water. He also tell him the food needs to cool. Notice how Einstein gently makes a blowing sound while Jeff cools off the bread. Einstein also makes a few other comments such as "Red butt clean" and "red butt corn". Not appropriate lunch conversation, but perhaps these comments are in reference to clean up after lunch and that he is about to enjoy some corn. Boy is he ever smart. Not just parroting what he hears but he knows how to respond like saying the food needs to cool. You should have heard him answering questions on Ted's Talk without any hesitation or prompting on November 25th 2009. Einstein is one heck of a smart bird as well as being totally loveable and adorable. You just want to kiss and hug him.

Tell me about it. I have a Senegal parrot who cant wait for breakfast. I swear in the mornings while I am busy preparing, I have a bird anxiously climbing up and down my arm going on to my shoulder, nibbling my neck and ears, gets angry if she doesn't get to sample breakfast from my fingers etc. I was so shocked when I saw this bird which is like 4 times larger just chill there while he is waiting so patiently for his meal.

How did you figure out he uses 'corn' to refer to any type of food? Tukufu often says "Want some corn" or "Want some carrot" but I just assume she says that because she wants those specific items.... hmmmm...
