15 years ago I remember showing my dad this video, and us being amazed together. Now I'm in my early 30's and dad passed away a few years back. Crazy that it popped back up into my feed again. It is a nice memory.

I live in the tropics so seasons never change as dramatically as this...but I have been through some temperate-zone winters and it's amazing how dramatically different everything looks with leaves and without them.

Oh my. You're missing out. The constant changing of the seasons in temperate climates is magnificent. The sights, sounds and smells vary so much from one season to another. Today, I can smell spring in the air and see some trees just beginning to bloom. Humidity is up, and I can see winter saying goodbye.

Did this give anyone else a very soft sense of sadness in a way? Particularly with the fact that we watch a year go by in a video posted 15 years ago? So much can change in that time, so many loved ones lost and loved ones gained. We're so different now than back then, yet at the same time, I have a feeling the location shown in these images hasn't changed much. 1 or 15 years later and that shack is peobably still there, same as these trees. One can watch the same course of seasons go by as if everything else that happened in the last 15 years was just a dream.

This is beautiful. I love the effect of having the sun peek in and out, it gives it a real sense of warmth. Also love the natural sounds versus music and the pumpkin on the stump. I agree this would make a lovely screensaver.

I feel so gifted that God has blessed me with a sound mind and body and always feel that people who don't have it, have a right on me, that i do for them which they can't do for themselves. For me out of the years 2017-2024, 2021 was the longest year, then second 2020, then third 2024 (If 2024 was 2023’s pace it honestly would have been April by now) Then fourth 2018 Fifth 2019 Sixth 2017 Seventh 2022 And finally eighth, the fastest 2023

Curiously, the order you show the longest to the fastest years, looks fairly accurate to what I experienced the last 7 years. I do not think there might be something to this, I now know there is.

@jimk8520 very true. Think about those two years of covid lockdowns and how most people will say those two years never happened. Nothing worthwhile really happened to tje average person except fear and gaslighting. I'll admit I can't really recall much from the end of 2019 to about 2022. 2023 got better once I moved away from the big city and went back to my roots, got a new career and found my wife. Time seems to have come back to near normal for me.

It will be my great pleasure to both show the due respect to both the uploader and 17,000 people you gave a thumbs up to my comment 15 years ago. 15 years later, I have had many very positive interactions with others who have in their busy life went and made the time to appreciate me. I now plan to return the respect to everyone, including the person who uploaded this video. With in the next year there will be 60 videos, 15 for each season, all 40 seconds long, with the title "15 years in 40 seconds". I will respond to each and every comment. Videos will be uploaded overtime. Your comments, feedback and reviews whether good or bad really help my end goal which is engaging and interacting with others. This is a very involved project, something I am most willing to do. I went through very poor mental health for quite some time- this is the positive response to it. The project starts later today. @SkY_LeX_99 It has been a different kind of start for these longer around town videos. Who knew the area of the city I live in would dictate views. Lots of different things are happening on my KZbin channel. The usual cooking shorts, other shorts, and an experiment into full-length videos. I'm watching everything closely and will take it from there. I am looking forward to the first major snowfall here of the upcoming season as it will better fine-tune where I go from there video wise.

I think fall is better 🍁🍂, If Halloween and Thanksgiving didn’t exist, fall would have been the worst as those are my 1st (Halloween) and 3rd (Thanksgiving) favorite holidays and I love the spooky vibes of Halloween Fall would be so bland and depressing without halloween and thanksgiving
