So good to see you again! I’m saddened to hear of the serious illness of your mother in law, and also your mother dealing with chronic illness. With all you are dealing with, I think getting counseling for your mental health is a good idea. I also spend time at church and in scripture, a great place to help lift the spirit. I love that you are color coding scripture, would love to hear how you do that 😊 Sorry to hear about the blood pressure issues, do you take a daily blood pressure medication? I also like the idea that you are interested in learning Italian, you already speak such good English so you must have a flair for languages. It will be a good thing to distract you from difficult things around you. I am much looking forward to a meditation video. Blessings!

I wish I had some sage advice or something comforting to say, but I think you’re going in the right direction to wade your way through this! I will be praying for you and your family. I do have an update, a young cat showed up in my yard, I kept shooing him away. Then I saw him eating corn at the bird feeder. It broke my heart so I put some tuna out for him. Long story short, he now has claimed my back deck as his own.😂I’m feeding him twice a day, I’ve set him up a comfortable shelter, & he lets me pet him & brush him. 😂Hopefully I can get him into a vet soon. My husband has to have eye surgery for fuches disease & I say God sent me this cat to help distract me from the stress of his upcoming surgeries. ☺️Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden & thanks to that awesome camera man and editor. 🥰

I had dmek corneal transplant surgery and new lenses in both eyes almost ten years ago as a result of Fuchs. A close friend just had her right cornea replaced two months ago and in spite of her fears she has her vision back and is planning on getting her left eye transplant in the fall. It is amazing that this restoration is possible and I have had zero issues since both of my surgeries were completed. I use flourometholone drops-if you get the generic and I pay under $30.00 for one month supply. The non generic were as high as $800.00 so shop around, also there are online coupons you or the pharmacies can utilize. Because it is considered a class three drug, my prescription coverage does not pay for it. I welcome your questions if you have any.

I'm so glad to see your update! Having a shower for the first time in two years must have been incredible. I know shower chairs can be hard, so I use a Roho cushion for extra comfort. Roho makes cushions for commode chairs too, so I recommend checking them out if you haven't. Have you tried using silver on your sore? I use silver patches over my suprapubic catheter to keep swelling down and stay dry, and I've heard they work great for bedsores. I'm glad you're doing better. Spinal cord injuries are complicated, especially with autonomic dysreflexia. It can be a challenge to figure out what's causing issues with blood pressure, but keep pushing forward. Wishing you all the best!

It was! 🛁🤩 I am currently in the process of exchanging my shower chair, and I made sure to get a soft cusion for the seat 👍 So glad your works for you! Yes, silver, medihoney, iodine, Prontosan and several other remedies - nothing had helped it heal up thus far 😓 Never had this issue, so it’s definitely concerning. So happy to see you again. I’m so sorry to hear of your Moms and their health challenges. I’ll keep them in my prayers as I do you. The gardens around your home are really beautiful….they are like an oasis. I sing in a choir and in September we’ll be gathering again for rehearsals leading up to our Christmas concert…love music and singing! What’s your favourite Christmas song? We did “Mary did you know “ last concert and it was really well received. I had hysterectomy years ago and felt better within hours. I just sat on my deck in the sun , in my houseboat and healed. My girlfriend also had hysterectomy but hers was done robotically , very small incisions and she too feels like a new woman. I think also getting some counseling is great as well…I did for a bit following some rough years and lots of anxiety. One on one was good but group discussions really helped…you are not alone. Sweet Eirin , I thought about you last week and wondered where you had been. Then I prayed for you in hopes of everything being ok. To see you tonight I was so happy. Your garden is so beautiful and I immediately thought God lives there. ❤️❤️. Someone once told me that many years ago in my home in New York before I lost my husband about my garden. And it stuck with me til this day. So I hope it makes you feel as happy as it continues to make me when I saw yours. I am so very sorry for all these trials and tribulations you and your family are going through. I understand it all first hand have had my share in my own life and continue to as well. Both my brothers have been dx with cancer in the past week and I struggle with it greatly as I lost my mom dad and husband to this dreaded disease. I have also had a stroke but God graced me with being able to rehabilitate n live with minor restrictions so as u can imagine I can identify with you on many levels. So my heartfelt prayers are with you and your family at this time. You are such an inspiration beautiful soul , and I’m so happy to have caught up with you tonight. Dear Eirin, my thoughts and prayers are with you always! So sorry you are facing multiple challenges on different fronts. Cancer is never pretty and it is a tough road, but one never loses hope. As for your health issues, both physical and mental, it seems you have a grip on what ails you. And that is half the battle. Awareness makes us stay in touch with our mind/body. None of it is easy. At the same time you have plans and goals on how to work through this with the assistance of your medical care team. That is the beauty of your strength and honest will to live. You seem organized and focused even if you get hit over and over, you still find a smile. You rely on deep faith. You use any tools at your disposal to feel better. I'm sure on some days you may feel depressed or sad and that's perfectly fine. There is a lot on your plate and somehow you manage to juggle it all. You're a warrior and I pray things get better.
