Opening with scenes of the streets of Abilene, welcome signs, and crowd. Eisenhower and Mamie lead the motorcade in a limousine. The next scenes are of the parade, including members of all branches of the Armed Forces, civilian bands including Kansas State University, Kansas University, and several floats. Eisenhower arrives at the dedication area. After the flag raising ceremony, the film shows various clips of speakers, including Eisenhower and Lyndon B. Johnson. The last scenes are of guests arriving to tour the Library.
