You did an amazing job covering just about everything at the park. My wife and I went there for the very first time RV and this summer and we will definitely go back so far. It is a favorite Texas state park.

You forgot to show of the caves down by the swimming area. My kiddos loved it there!

Thanks for your comment! Although I strive to mention or highlight the main attractions at the parks, it’s important to me that you as a viewer get out and explore and find additional and exciting parts of the park on your own. Sounds like that’s a cool feature that you found on your own!👍😎

Nice park! What a huge lake. Do you ever fish when you're out there camping? I know that I can never resist! Congratulations on 25 years friend! Looking forward to your next video.

Hi Corey, thanks so much brother! It’s been nice to take some time and spend with Susan for our 25th anniversary! To answer your question, we absolutely love to fish at every park that we go to. Our favorite campsites are ones like Lake Bob Sandlin, where we had a private trail to the water. My daughter actually caught a turtle while we were there! I’ve cleaned up the Geo Pro and performed some much needed maintenance. I’m looking at getting out to the next park the weekend before Thanksgiving! 👍😎

Hi! Thanks for the video I was interested in going there this weekend and wanted to know if the campsites were spaced out enough for privacy or shaded by trees? Or what you would recommend for someone who wants some personal space
@campingtexan7721Ай бұрын
Yes, some campsites have space for privacy. For privacy factor that I can think of, if your a tent camper and like water only sites, then I would recommend any of the overflow camping area Sites but I liked 189,188, or 187. Another camping area/ loop I would recommend is Elm Point camping area : Sites 167 or 179.( Water only sites), Fossil Ridge Camping area (Water only sites): site 153( not as close to other sites and more private). If you’re either a Tent or a RV or etc. camper and you like the Full hookups then the more private campsites will be the outer sites of Bois D’Arc Ridge camping loops: specifically site 96 looks more private than most of the campsites in that loop. The other loop Armadillo hill was partially closed the last time we went. Also for Bois D’Arc Ridge, I’m pretty sure has trees covering the sites or area. I hope you have an awesome camping experience and find the most private campsite for you. Also, if you need to you can download a map from the Texas State Parks app and print it out or look on your phone to find a better site or the ones I have listed. I appreciate you watching!👍😎

The stones that you like around campsite 160 and 161 that is bags of concrete stacked. And the paper has deteriorated over time!
