I mostly can't get into modern Black Metal. While I always crave the cold, low-fi sound of albums like Transilvanian Hunger by Darkthrone and, of course, Filosofem by Burzum, this album is pretty fucking good. Really scratches this black metal itch I've been feeling lately. Could use more double bass though 🤣.
