I remember when Eiza started out in Mexican telenovelas (soap operas) she was a teen, like 17ish and they brutally criticized her weight, face and nose. She did a couple of more novelas and then she drastically lost weight and had some slight surgeries. then she resurfaced in Hollywood and I realized she literally changed everything about herself furthermore through surgery. and also, started working out heavy. her case reminds me a lot of Kylie Jenner who used to be critiqued for not having lips or being pretty enough or curvy enough, she later went and had all the plastic surgery known to man done on her body and then was again criticized for being 'fake and all plastic' - but ironically now after Kylie and Eiza had all these surgeries they are thriving and admired for their beauty. society's double standards and objectification of women destroys their self image but then they get critiqued when they become what society told them they should be. I personally am not against ppl getting work done but do think it's a shame that women in media and Hollywood have to change everything about themselves to be accepted. but at the same time get praise or backlash. it's all weird.

Her original nose reminds me of my ex’s, who is Mexican American. His family was descended from Galician Jews, and this is a Sephardic feature. It’s very unique and I wish that women were encouraged to embrace our unique features in the same way that men are. Pedro Pascal has a similar nose too. This angular, v-shaped trend with the same eye shape, lips, and jaw is getting ridiculous.

This is true. The interesting thing is that this type of nose is very common amongst certain ethnic groups in Spain/Iberia as well as particular native ethnicities in part of Mexico and the Andes mountain ranges. So a lot of Latinos, even if they look more European, may have inherited it from either side

Agree. I watched her on _Lola; Érase una Vez_ as a young adult, and how she looked then vs. now is a night/day difference. In 2007 I thought she was so cute and adorkable. Then, in 2011, I remember how she looked for _Amores Verdaderos._ She just looked like she lost some weight, and that's it. I first saw Eiza in the movie Ambulance. I remember being shocked by how beautiful she was. This is one of those analyses where I really say to myself: "Beauty is an illusion. Nothing is real. All celebrities have had SOMETHING done and most have gotten a lot of work done! I will never compare myself to them again because THEY don't even look like their 'natural selves.'' I love watching plastic surgery analyses. They are so fascinating, and plastics really is the perfect mix of art and science. As someone who is Mexican, people don't like to admit this but a lot of Mexicans really want to look white. The novelas always have actors with colored eyes and light skin. My cousins who lived in Mexico were brown but used to wear white foundation and put in blue eye contacts. I believe they have stopped doing this in recent years. Things have gotten better but it is still prevalent in Mexican media.

As a Mexican American I do watch a lot of Mexican TV Novelas. Yes she looks very different now. She played a girl that suffered with an ED . This is Mexican tabloid talk so idk if this is true but what I read is that in real life she does suffer with an ED . So maybe just “ maybe “ you can see a tab bit difference on her face while her weight changes. I remember watching her so little on TV looking all cute w talent so fingers cross those tabloids are false. ✨

She is gorgeous. I had no idea that a thing like "facial liposuction" existed. Also I could be wrong but why get a dimple plasty when you could fake dimples by make up? Like I once remember googling how to get dimples (I dont have them but my sister does) and I found some good make up tricks to get one. Never tried it on my face tho. Have dimples when you want and erase them if you want.
