Cyberaya is pronounced as Cyber Raya, from the word 'bandar raya' meaning big city. Ejen Ali previously was the sole user of IRIS because he's the only one who can activate and sync with it (you'll find out why in the movie 🤐). That was until MATA created another version of IRIS for other MATA agents to use. I already watched Ejen Ali The Movie. As a Malaysian, I'm proud to see Malaysian animations are getting more recognition. Hope to see more in the future 👍👍

SYNOPSIS Tells the story of Ali, a 12 -year -old boy who has been recruited to be a spy for an intelligence agency, known as the Meta Advance Tactical Agency (MATA) whose role is to protect the futuristic city of Cyberaya from external threats. Conflict begins to arise when Ali finds out that he is not the only agent who can control a special gadget (IRIS - Infinity Retinal Intelligence System). The gadget has been upgraded to IRIS Neo, a gadget that can be controlled and used by other agents. This new innovation was questioned by Ali when he felt marginalized and his position as MATA’s special agent was compromised. At that moment, he is approached by a mysterious individual who claims to know the story of his past. So began Agent Ali's new adventure in order to uncover the truth even though his loyalty to MATA will be tested.

It's funny, cause it's mostly pun-based. MATA is the fiction secret organisation. MATA also is the Malay word for "Eyes", and what does this show primarily focuses on? The technology called "IRIS". you should watch the first season series than you now what actually happen. the series awesome. for me 3 greatest malaysain animation are Upin Ipin ( for young kid), Boboiboy (young teenager), Ejen Ali (young Adult). Ejen Ali plot are more complex compare to the other two animation.

The first trailer u watch is Ejen Ali The Movie 1 - released in 2019. The 2nd one is Ejen Ali The Movie 2 - in 2021z The 2nd movie record the highest grossing film ever in Malaysia. Both are in Malaysia Netflix. Not sure about US
