This is an incredibly complex song that I am playing in an honor band currently and our band was able to have the honor of meeting and being conducted by Richard Floyd the conductor in the video. He was extremely nice and had many useful comments that helped our band become even better than it was previously.

I played this last year for all state and it was so much fun! Be careful tho, one of the percussionists hit the glass too hard and it shattered all over.

This song was a pain to learn (alto saxophone) but the result that came out of it was worth it I would say. Such an interesting blend of different sounds that you wouldn't think would work but it does. Great piece, would I spend as much time as I did trying to perfect it again? Probably not lmao.

Every time I listen to this I think of a metal version. A drum set will easily be able to play the percussion part using rim shots as a alternative to the wine glasses. Bass guitar will obviously play the low brass and 2 guitars can play the rest of the treble horns. If anyone makes a metal version please let me know
